Announcement of the Silicon Valley Homebrew Mobile Phone Club, intended to do the same thing for mobile phones that the WikiPedia:Homebrew_Computer_Club did for computers.


For some reason, TextMessaging hasn't caught on in the UnitedStates the way it has in the rest of the world.

Will phones/PDAs?/tabs be replaced within years/decades by wearable (implantable?) computers, all buzzing the ether with their WireLess conversation?

Or the other way around, at the very least for the short term, mobile phones will continue to absorb other capabilities of tab-size devices. Apparently, in 2004 camera phones started to outsell single-purpose digital cameras.
