- user-selectable appearance ("skins")

Process, rather than content
In the middle of the decade now, it is becoming common for people to embed web service feeds of most if not all kinds in the list above from other websites that focus entirely that particular domain - linkrolls, DelIcioUs or Furl or...photos, Flickr, etc.
Some features are often only machine-visible - such as geographic location (lat/long - see Getty on MapLinks) HTML tags (see
Geotags,
Globe of Blogs), and AutoDiscoveryOfRssFeeds.
